Activity 3.3 Workshops and Seminars on PRTR Turkey

The first seminar, under Activity 3.3, on PRTR implementation and legislation took place at Antalya on 5 October 2018.

10 different seminars on PRTR implementation and legislation were conducted under Activity 3.3. The Provincial Directorates were invited to the seminar together with the private sector representatives and non-governmental organisations. Seminars took place at Antalya, Van, Malatya, Karabük, Samsun, Adana, Kocaeli, İzmir, Edirne and Ankara. During this one-day seminars the project team and the Beneficiary delivered presentations on following project outputs:

• Turkish PRTR By-Law – Overview
• Pilot Installation Selection Process
• PRTR System – Overview
• PRTR System Implementation Strategy – Overview
• Key Performance Indicators for PRTR System Sustainability
